and display Service Flags. Displaying a flag that is
handmade is also acceptable. You may contact any Chapter President for
more information or simply print off a service flag from our
website. |
|
|
| How Much Does it cost to
join? |
| The cost of
membership is $10.00 per year. The pin is optional and costs
$10.00 and Dad’s pins are also available for $10.00. |
|
|
| Can a relative join? |
| Yes, but not as a
member, they may be an Associate Member. This would also
apply to aunts, uncles, brothers, grandparents, friends and
dads. |
|
|
| How often are the
meetings? |
| Each chapter
organizes their own meeting schedule. SCV Chapter 91
meetings are posted on the Calendar section and
highlighted in yellow. |
|
|
| As a member, do I have
to volunteer for service projects? |
| You may come and
attend our meetings for the fellowship and support you gain
from being with other military mothers. While we encourage
volunteerism, it is not a requirement to join. |
|
|
| Are
your meetings casual? |
|
Yes, but we would like our members to show
their solidarity by wearing the Blue Star Mother T-shirt;
however, it is not required. We do encourage everyone
participating in outside functions to wear their shirts and show
their pride in being a member of our chapter and most
importantly, their pride in their military loved one. |
