| Blue Star Moms:
I really don't know where to start on my appreciation for the care
packages you have sent me. I really do thank you all so much for
them. I have shared them with my fellow Marines, and they all say,
"Big Thanks," and they all chowed down on the goodies.
The stuff you sent are things everyone uses on a daily basis. You
brought tears to my eyes, because it shows that while we are over
here, there are still people who care.
So thank you again and again and again and again.....
Have a great day, and Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful),
Cpl. Guccione, USMC

Dear Blue Star Mothers:
My name is Todd Ten-Napel. I am a specialist
in the California National Guard deployed in Iraq. I am writing to
thank you
for the packages I received from your organization.
I was able to share a lot of the items with my fellow soldiers. It
brought a much needed smile to our hearts to know that there
are organizations like yours filled with people that still care about
America's frontline men and women in uniform.
I am in a small section that have been attached to the USMC since
August. Organizations like yours help keep our heads up
and minds focused. Thank you for all you do back at home no matter
how great or small. Guys like me feel the impact of
of your dedication.
From all of the guys here in Alpha Section, we thank you and God Bless
you.

Dear SCV Blue Star Moms
On behalf of my unit, I would like to
personally thank you for your generous boxes of care packages that we
received
just before Christmas. You should have seen the look on our
Soldier's faces when they opened your large boxes of goodies.
You can tell each baggie was meticulously prepared. I know that a
lot of thought and coordination was needed to send
all of your packages.
The Blue Star Mothers is a wonderful
organization. It is groups like yours that keep us going,
especially during the
holiday seasons when most of us are thinking of home. Your gifts
brought a touch of home for us.
Please keep up the great work. We
truly appreciate all that you do for every service member that wears a
uniform. Thank
you and God bless America.
Sincerely,
B. C. La Forteza

Dear Blue Star Moms:
Your packages are awesome. Thank you
very much for the terrific support from home. The boxes 'go
above and beyond'
and are always accepted with huge smiles. The socks warm our
feet but the love, thoughts and prayers warm our hearts.
Again, thank you for all that you have
done.

I am writing this letter to
thank you for all the care packages you have been sending.
I
really appreciate what you do because I
always
get everything I need from what you send. Thanks to you, I have
everything
that I need to be comfortable in the
field.
Without your care packages my days here in Iraq would have seemed longer than
they actually have been.
Someday soon when
I am back home and have
everything that I need and like, I will still remember
what you did for
us here. Cpl.

Dear Blue Star Mothers:
I can't thank you enough for all of your
support. As I am sure you know, my boys love getting mail and your
packages certainly brighten the day around here. It's funny, the day
before we got your first package, I was talking with my mother.
She was telling me about this flag she was flying in her window with two
stars on it (my wife is also deployed here). I had never heard of
it before, but I thought it was cool. Then we started getting your
packages. All of the boys are
doing really well, we are decorating for the holidays, chow is good, and
we even have internet access! Needless to say, we are a little
spoiled. We are all looking forward to coming home, but understand
why we are here and feel like we making a difference.
Thank you again for all of your support, give
everyone my best and let all know we see the support everyday and it
means a lot to my men.
